Joseph grew up in Chappaqua, New York, where he met his high school sweetheart, Carolyn. After marrying in 1998, they settled in Ridgefield, Connecticut and raised their three sons—James, Colin, and Andrew. Today, Joseph continues to serve clients in the Northeast while expanding his practice into the Southeast, offering in-person and virtual support tailored to each client’s needs.

When two of his sons were diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, Joseph became an active advocate and former board member for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), offering support to families managing the financial complexities of chronic illness. He also raises awareness around PANS and PANDAS, a rare condition his eldest son endured, and remains deeply committed to helping others navigate these difficult and often misunderstood challenges.

A lifelong NY Rangers fan and certified level-4 hockey coach, Joseph spent years on the ice with his boys and served as Vice President of their local hockey organization. These days, he enjoys golfing, coastal walks with Carolyn, and cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars as a proud part of the Florida “Duuuval” community. His oldest son now attends the University of Alabama—Roll Tide!
